WCNYC 2009

Attending WordCampNYC

I just signed up to attend the WordCampNYC this weekend in New York City.

The event is on Saturday and Sunday, November 14 and 15, 2009. It will be held at Baruch College of the City University of New York. Although my ticket covers both days, I will be attending only on Saturday.

At the time I signed up, the attendee count was at 612 including myself. The line up of speakers is amazing and I am really excited to get together with fellow WordPress enthusiasts.

WordCamp is a conference that focuses on everything WordPress. WordCamps are informal, community-organized events that are put together by WordPress users like you. Everyone from casual users to core developers participate, share ideas, and get to know each other. WordCamps are open to WordPress.com and WordPress.org users alike.

There are still a couple of days, so anybody interested in the event can get more information at WordCampNYC Web Site. WordCamps are organized in other parts of the US and all over the world. If you are interested in an event close to where you live you can check it out at WordCamp Central.

See you there!

Your Brand Can Thrive Using Word of Mouth Marketing

Word of Mouth is a major factor in people’s buying decisions. Businesses may spend millions on advertising, but nothing will probably beat the effectiveness of a recommendation from a trusted source.
